Mask Behind Every Face

It is now being some time since I started realizing the people i.e. the way they talk and the cosmetic they apply to hide there real face from other. The fake smile and attitude is not only in corporate now rather it has become the part and parcel of everyone life cycle. As we could hear from our parents and grand parents there days were much different and full of humanity than from ours, and most important the people nature and behavior is alike whether upfront or at back.

There is a purpose of sharing the above picture. These two pictures  clearly gives us an idea about the types and nature of people that we are surrounded with. The face which is god gifted has lost its existence and altogether new face has evolved which has overrided the natural gifted one. You could never be able to realise from face that from what mentality the other  person is going through.

The number of suicide attempts in our country are not very exciting. They are not falling but rather slowly or steadily making there space by occupying large portion. If this (double face behavior) would not be the case than there were not be the case of suicide or attempt to suicide. Every one or the other day the headlines reads of suicide commit however the manner are different like jumping in-front of metro or pillar, hanging self, cutting veins etc.

I have traveled enough during my internship period whether in or outside Delhi where I have noticed the isolation inside the people. Some are found to be sitting lonely, some are crying silently and some are alone in crowd. These incidents are very common. The reason could be anything like children living away from parents, technological advancement which has resulted in people finding there world in modern gadgets, breakup in personal relationships and many more.

There is a slight memory in my mind of a girl whom I saw crying in yellow line(Delhi University). The reason was obviously undefined and unanswerable as neither of us know each other but I could see the modulation in voice, the shivering in voice and body. The case which I am talking about is not that of a 10-20 years old girl but rather a girl of age in between 25-30. She was tall and beautiful and seems to be office goer but her crying voice has let me thought over about such cases. Once again  in a recent incident in Delhi rapid metro, a beautiful northeast girl was found standing beside the doors and looking outside the window. At first instance, nobody could judge what was happening but when I saw her eyes, expressions and thereafter her falling huge tears has again recalled me the incidents of past. This was only one such case that was encountered and might be the intensity of the sadness was too huge that she not able to resist her feelings and the artificial mask was slowly and slowly getting removed.

 

Photos are intentionally clicked blured to maintain the girl privacy. The purpose is just to highlight that you can't judge a person just by his/her physical appearance. 

So the Moral is-

"He could be what he is not" 

             & 

"He is not what he is".   

           

It's better to have less than to cry for more.

There is Chanakya in Every Indian Street

PM Modi along with the support of his highly cunning party members has implemented GST on 01st July 2017 with the hope that the graph for revenue collection will move upwards and the loops and gaps which the earlier system carries will be vanished with traders and businessman left with no option than to pay tax in accordance with the laws framed by the union government.

It is still afresh in our mind that how the government faced resistant not only with the other political parties but also with various small sections of traders and entrepreneurs with accusing government of being anti towards them and becoming the cause of shutdown of various small business. First few months in the country went with agitation and unrest in various parts of the country with people and parties doing mass meeting and planning against the government for the steps taken. The oldest party Congress under the leadership of Mr Rahul Gandhi was doing rebel in its own unique way with accusing BJP in every instances.

                                                                   

                        

 

Various news channel started different broadcast and debates to raise there Television Rating Points (TRP) with people called from different parties but at the conclusion nothing beneficial could be derived from the discussion. I would not even call it a discussion rather it was something mode of passing time for the people who don't have moral values within them and just speak illogic to come in limelight and gain popularity.

Government Estimates On Revenue Growth

If the data provided by the government in the above link is to believed then government has collected the revenue higher than that estimated but how much the figures are tampered is still unknown and no RTI has being filed in regards to the authenticity of the facts published.

The estimates that government has highlighted is roughly around 92,283 crore against the expected figure of 91,000 crores and this figure is likely to go up when all the tax payers file there tax return.



Collections Track

It is quite obvious to ask that if everything is going on track than where is the lag and where is the loop? There is a marginal dip in  revenue collection from GST. There was a marginal dip in January from December 2017. The month of October and November 2017 saw a decline.

Also, in order to meet the stakeholders need the government has reduced the rates on various items and introduced the composition scheme for dealers having turnover up to Rs 1 crore plus many services are exempted from the per-view of GST.

        

Where is the Lag?

Practical situation is far more different from the one which we have thought of. At the time when the new tax regime is undergoing implementation none of us would have thought that the Chanakya of indian street will find a way out. If you go on practicality the fact is that the accepting of cash and trading on kutcha bill is prevalent across various indian street. Whether it is a cloth merchant or jeweler, whether owner of marriage hall, or person running catering business, everybody is boycotting the digital mode of payment by scaring there customer of unnecessary extra cost. Further, the customer who is already pressurized under the inflation try to save even the single penny from wherever possible.

The markets of Old Delhi, Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazar are such where there are numerous numbers of small traders who are dealing in large scale with escaping the tax payment. The government should look after these grey areas so that such un-trade practices that are prevalent across should be stopped and the liability to pay such tax should vest with shopkeeper or merchant rather than imposing the tax burden on consumer itself.           

           

     

Knowledge on sacred plant- "तुलसी"

Basic about Tulsi(तुलसी)-

Every Indian family especially by Brahmins and Vaishnavas are familiar with Tulsi [तुलसी] or Tulasi plant and its religious and medicinal purpose. Its scientific name is "Ocimum tenuiflorum" and is worshiped by many people in India as it is considered as sacred plant due to its various positive aspects associated with it. The offering of its leaves is mandatory in ritualistic worship of Vishnu and his forms like Krishna.

Tulsi (तुलसी) is often placed in the center of the house and is properly maintained and kept seprate from dirt and unhygienic things. Indian family generally consider that the plant should be worshiped twice a day i.e. one in the morning and other in the evening with lamp[दीया] and candlestick[ मोमबत्ती]. 

It has various other medicinal benefits and is considered as ayurvedic medicines for fight against bacteria and other health issues. Generally, people preferred keeping Tulsi (तुलसी) at a certain height above the ground level so that it remains un-rebutted and free from dirt.

Types of Tulsi (तुलसी) plant

Type-1: - In Hindu mythology Tulsi is known as Vaishnavi, Vishnu Tulsi, Haripriya. The tulsi with green leaves is known as Shri Tulsi where "shri" is synonym for Lakshmi. This variety also known as Rama Tulsi ( as shown above). 

Type-2: -The Tulsi with dark green or purple leaves and purple stem is called Shyama Tulsi or Krishna Tulsi.

Some forgotten facts about Tulsi (तुलसी) plant

Traditionally the daily worship and care of the plant is responsibility of women and therefore it is 

also known as women deity(goddess).Tuesday and Friday are considered to be most sacred for 

worship. 

Tulsi malas are considered to be auspicious for the wearer and believed to connect him 

with Vishnu or Krishna. They are worn as necklace or garland or held in hand and used as rosary. 

Tulsi great connection with Vaishnavas is communicated with the fact that Vaishnavas are known 

as those who bear tulsi round the neck. Some pilgrimage carry tulsi throughout there way to Dwarka

which is one of the seven most sacred Hindu cities.  

Tulsi (तुलसी)Importance in Hindu Culture

Every part of the plant is considered as sacred. Even the soil around the plant is holy. The Padma Purana declare a person who is cremated with Tulsi twigs in  his funeral gains moksha and place in Vishnu vaikuntha.

If a Tulsi stick is used to burn a lamp for Vishnu. it is like offering the gods lakhs of lamps. If one makes paste of dried tulsi wood( from the plant that dried naturally) and smears it over his body and worship Vishnu, it is worth several ordinary pujas and lakhs of Gow-Daan (Donation of cows).

Water mixed with tulsi leaves is given to dying to raise their departing soul to heaven.

  

Pre &  Post cautions-> Things to Avoid

1. It is taboo to urinate, excrete or throw waste water near the plant.

2. Uprooting and cutting branches of the plant is prohibited.

3. When the plant withers, the dry plant is immersed in a water body with due religious rites as is the custom for broken divine images, which are unworthy for worship.

4. Though Tulsi leaves are necessary for Hindu worship, there are strict rules for it. A prayer of forgiveness may also be offered to Tulsi before the act
